SUPER SATURDAY!!!

So guess what tomorrow is!!  It's SUPER SATURDAY!!!!  Tomorrow, I will be upgraded from "the girl I'm seeing" to "Super Girlfriend" and Jerome will become "Super Boyfriend!"  We're psyched about our promotions.  I'm preparing an acceptance speech!!  This whole promotion thing was Jerome's idea.  It's the cutest story in the world but I don't feel like typing it all out.  To make a long story short, tomorrow is our one month anniversary.  It also happens to be the day that we're celebrating Jerome's 22nd birthday.  That's right, he's 22, the youngest guy I've ever dated!!  Amazed, I know!!!  :)  Anyways, his bday is the 23rd (same day as my Kris!!) which is Tuesday but since we're going out to dinner, we figured it would be better to celebrate it on the weekend.  With the bday and anniversary stuff on the same day, Saturday has become SUPER SATURDAY!!!  He's planning the fun stuff during the day and I'm doing the dinner and bday stuff.  We're going to hang out all day, then go on a mini-golf double date with his best friend and his girlfriend.  She works at Ikea so I guess it's okay to like her!!!  Maybe she'll give me discounts! 

After mini-gold, Jerome will drop me off at my house where I will get ready for dinner.  We're going to McCormick's and Schmick's which is this nice steak and seafood place.  They advertise with our station and the owner likes me and gave me a $50 gift certificate.  That won't cover everything but it'll help a lot!!  I have this awesome little black dress (every girl's gotta have one!!) and I can't WAIT to wear it.  I spent all evening Wednesday shopping for his present and was so tired and frustrated with it.  Shopping for other people is SO hard.  I know what I want him to look like but I had to think of what HE would actually wear.  Bummer.  I ended up with jeans, a pair of khakis, and two button-down shirts.  I think I'm going to return the jeans and one of the shirts and get him a new sweatshirt (he loves them!) and a gift certificate to Quizno's (his fave food place!)  We'll see what happens.

BTW:  Jerome also goes by Patrick which is his middle name, so if you hear me mention a Patrick, it's not a new guy, it's just Jerome!!  Anyway, that's all I wanted to say...

The best shopping day ever....

so, i started to update the other day and got interupted.  apparently, xanga isn't my only duty here at work!!  anyway, now, i have no clue what i was going to write about.  sorry, this post is going to suck...

speaking of sucking, i went to the dentist the other day.  i haven't been since high school!!   i have to get a crown on that tooth i got a root canal on back in high school, three fillings, and my wisdom teeth out :(  not gonna be fun... 

on a brighter note, i used my day off (i took 1  1/2 days off for doc appts) to get my hair done (that counts as a doctor...i felt better after i left!!) and GO SHOPPING!!  you'll never guess what i got...MOUTHWASH!!!!   i got two kinds of mouthwash, one with extra flouride for nights and one with all that other junk for days.  it was great.  i even got an ironing board and chapstick.  wow, what a fun day!!!

other than that, nothing really.  i stopped by the store to get my W2 form finally.  i'll get 800 back this year!!  while there i, of course, got my second parking ticket in two days.  al asked me if i would mind coming in this week to do a little inventory.  i was gonna say no cause my ipod is broken and its so boring without music, but i guess i'll go ahead and do it now, the extra money can help pay off those parking tickets!!

haha...sorry about that mama c.  i have a lot to talk about too!  actually one BIG thing but i'll update about the other things first.

The apartment search is off for now.  I won't be able to put money down on a place until May so it was just a big tease to be looking right now.  Any place I found would be taken by the time I could sign.  I'm thinking about not moving until July, right before the Campanas go to Barcelona.  That allows me to save up some more money and maybe get an even better place!!

I gave up on that girl as a roommate.  I've decided to live with a guy or live alone.  Those are the two options.  I'm too picky to live with a girl.  A guy would let me decorate and clean how I like it and wouldnt care.  I also thought about the fact that I don't even like girls (except of course brit, sofia, quada, and my sisters), so living with them would be utter torture for me.  I only survived the girls at college by hanging out with john and AK all the time and basically living in their rooms.  mom says that syd and erin won't be able to stay with me if i live with a guy.  The Campana's said they can't see me living with a girl and that my sisters can stay with them when they visit!! haha...the only rule is that the guy has to be ugly.

And now for the big news....I'M DATING A BLACK GUY!!!!!!    Hahahahahaha....When I told my family Sydney said "Way to go!"  It was funny!  He's a guy I work with.  He produces the Big Show on WEEI.  WEEI just happens to be the number one sports station in the country and the Big Show is the number one sports show in the country.  They have this thing called the whiner line which they play everyday at the end of the show.  listeners call in and make comments, poke fun at players and personalities, and often use fake voices and stuff.  it's hard to explain but HILARIOUS to listen to.  anyway, they have an awards show for it to award the best callers.  It's a dressy thing and they hold it in the Fleet Center and invite sports ppl and stuff.  Anyway, me and Brett were talking at the after party and one of the listeners was like stalking me.  They kept talking to me becasue the guys on the show did a bit about me once so now all the listeners know me as the cute little receptionist.  Anyway, when the stalker guy came over, me and Brett todl him we were engaged to be married Oct. 5th (my bday) and that I wasn't wearing my ring because it clashed with my gold jewelry that night.  We were totally believable.  We went out for coffee afterwards and have been dating for the past two weeks.  It's funny cause he's adopted by a white family so he's the only black guy.  I'm the only black girl he's dated.  We're breaking each other into same-race dating!!  haha...

TWO GORGEOUS!!!

so i've been looking at apartments with this girl.  at fist her realtor was the one showing us around.  she was always late and the first day we were with her for over an hour and didnt even see anything cause she had to run errands to get gas and keys and crap and then we get there and she had the WRONG keys.  we were SO frustrated.  i got a realtor of my own and she showed us around over the weekend.  mine is awesome!!  she showed us this GORGEOUS place in south boston.  its a brand new high rise that's only been open for a couple months.  we'd be the first to live in our apartment and the second tower is still under construction.  it's a two bedroom, two big full bath with a brand new kitchen and all black shiny appliances, a nice living room, and a nice view, once all the construction is complete in spring.  The train doesnt come there but the silver line bus stops right outside.  it's better than the other buses cause it has limited stops and runs part underground.  its new too.  anyway, the apartment had a consierge downstairs to do dry cleaning, movie and event tickets, and hold ur mail, as well as a zipcar station in the garage and a new fitness facility opening in the new towers this spring.  now how awesome does that sound.  best of all...it was in our price range!!  it has EVERYTHING we were looking for!!  the only thing is, she wants to be on the green trainline.  like her, i'd prefer not to take the bus, but when looking, you have to make compromises.  she's not going to find a fancy place IN boston unless she wants to go broke.  and she changes her mind all the time. i think we're gonna look seperatley.

we had to do evaluation forms at work today...that sucks

i'm going to hang out with dan tonight.  he lives on the shore.  he house sits at a lot of awesome mansions so we're going to hang out at one of them tonight.  it has a heated driveway for snow removal!  we're gonna watch tommy boy and eat indian food.  i've been wanting indian food for a while and he knows this awesome place in rhode island so we're gonna get it from there.  he's a cool kid, in a dorky, seth cohen kind of way.  for those of you who dont know, seth cohen, from the OC, is amazing.  he's beautiful and funny in that geeky way.  i'd marry him if i could.  dan is like that. he's a senior majoring in history so he LOVES to talk history.  he's also hott tho which is rare.  he did some modeling and is GORGEOUS (second use of the word today!!).  he's fun tho so i'm excited to hang out again tonight!!
